Start MMS

Postby parti02 » Sat Jun 23, 2007 9:08 pm

Hi all,
i installed a Xubuntu "command line system".
I installed X with x-term, without a wm.

If i am starting mms with:

Code: Select all

 /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 -ac -terminate & sleep 7; DISPLAY=:0 xterm -e mms &

then x starts, but i see only the grey x background, thats all.
When i kill x with STRG + ALT + BKSP, then the console shows:

Code: Select all

[1]- Done      /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 -ac -terminate
[2]+ Exit 1    sleep 7: DISPLAY=:0 xterm -e mms

If i am starting x with startx and after loading X with x-term i start mms manually then it runs.

Whats the problem?

Gruß
Dirk

Ok, it runs after "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" and activate all modules.
