Is there a way to speed up imms.db and mms-audio-library?

I just tried running mms-audio-library just to check if I could reproduce but the memory is constant at 0.6% as it should be.

There seems to be no possibility to dump the output somehow ... have found 'exmap-console' on the net, but it has a daemon, server, client ... puh ;)

Will see, have mms-audio-library running again and wait a while to give room to collect momory ...

gexmap should provide you a GUI listing the differents processes.
Just choose the mms-audio-library one, and it will give you detailled information, so you can see if the problem is in mms-audio-library binary itself, or in one of the library it uses.

Ok, did another testing ...

Attached you'll find a log-file witch has a per-minute status of
date
ls -l imms.db
ps aux | grep mms

I changed to 5 minutes log and will upload it, too ...

Furthermore a sreenshot of gexmap showing that mostly memory is used by (heap) ...
And a second one 5 minutes later, to tell differences!

From the log you'll notice that the needed amount of mem increases ...

Hope that helps!?

Ok, here's the last part of the log (shortend to 1 entry/30min).

As one can see, the memory usage raises from 222752 to 617080 ...
and from 16.4% memory usage to 42.6%.

Cpu usage lays constantly above 80% which is quite high for the long time the tool needs ...
