Try looking at the void check_audio_state() function in audio.hpp. You can do a check on the audio_state->p->p_cur_nr(); to get the currently selected track and then if it turns out to be "stop" and type of stream is "web" (I think, but please check) then just readd the stream (audio_state->p->addfile).

not all of that ... atm I don't even have the sources, I'm using the deb packages. Maybe I should set up a second system for testing purposes ;)

Anders, I've promised you to send a bt from lyrics+screensaver+web-radio. But: MMS ran through w/o a glitch, only the web-radio wasn't playing anymore. Pressing on play strarted the playback again.
To sum up: we have two issues: glitch in lyrics and a reconnect problem.

Regards,
Andreas

I started mms from console yesterday and I saw that while the radio was stopping there was a message like HTTP: connection too low

I've upgraded my wireless hardware to get a better connection and after that it worked fine with my first test.

But still it would be good if mms could auto-reconnect :)
