Oh, sorry, no gentoo users here. ;)

1: Config phase using gcc-4.5.2 runs fine (but compilation fails, as we know).

2: Switching to gcc-4.4.5 (working well so far) and now I'm told to install taglib. Same system, no chrooted environment.

Come on, taglib is installed! :evil:

That is not funny, is it? :mrgreen:
