Should work, just press second action when viewing your favorites.

Not sure if this is possible, will investigate.

Typing?

Fredde:
* Could you package "youtube-0.2" instead of "youtube" dir? (I've done that and changed download-link to my server in wiki ... but for the future ;)
* a separate download-dir would be nice! So there's no mixup between db, data and movies

Nice work! Thx ;)

Edit:
After watching a longer file (stream), MMS (pyglet) was frozen afterwards?! Busy-indicator showing, notification-are still updating, but no keyboard input anymore!

Btw:
Search for "wuppertal mai 2008" and watch "Polizeigewalt Wuppertal: 1. Mai 2008"!! This is what democracy in germoney is like :!:

OT:
It's ususal in germany to go and demonstrate on 1st may against capitalism, fashism, etc. ... it's called "day of work" ... there were 400 demonstrants and they took 200 into custody ... problem is, the police did provoke them from the time the demonstration started

"Add to Favorits" is not working

Postby swer » Thu Jul 17, 2008 4:58 pm

When I try to add a movie to my favorites, mms stop working. Only the box, where i can chose between downloading the file and add it to my favorites, appears. After that mms doesn't react any more.
I run mms on a gentoo system. And I use Python 2.5.2. The version of the Plugin is 0.2.2.

I hope you can help my

Sorry I'm not sure.
I used a ebuild to install MMS. But mms -V shows Version 1.1.0 rc6.
Where can I find the revision number.

I'am also not sure which rev that the ebuild uses. Your problem probably comes from the update that I recently made. To use youtube-0.2.1 you need rev 1728+. If you got an older rev use youtube-0.2.

Why not get the latest rev with bazaar and compile mms your self :D

Hope that helps

Good to know.
I just found this ebuild http://forum.mymediasystem.org/viewtopic.php?p=10466#10466
and modified it to work with mms-1.1.0-1746.
I didn't know this snapshot versions. Thought rc6 was the latest.

pinging the server is fine
playing the file on my laptop works fine
and playing the file after it was downloaded on l-r-pc works fine, too?!

I used "-cache 8192" before, but removed it to test ... result is the same. It plays the first second on stops with all these skipping-messages?!

I even tried changing player to xine (cxfe) but that seems to be of no matter for youtube-pyglet?

I have no idea, but I found this:

http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-dev-eng/2007-July/052670.html

...but it's a year old, and it's working on your laptop, strange :?

Thx, Fredde!

Your hint helped making the decision to update mplayer to 1.0rc2 .. with that, everything works as it should ;)

Etch's mplayer surely is too old! Debian ... stable but old ...

@Mikka:
If you read this, this is another reason to update S100-Script to Lenny ;)
