Have you got a direct link?

sorry, I was offline some days...
this: http://www.team-mediaportal.com is in fact a direct link,
because the My Alarm Plugin is included in the main program download
(no need for additional download). As I got it right in my mind, it has to
be enabled somewhere in the .ini...
I would made a screenshot but I
wiped it (and the windows) from my media machine for MMS :-)

There's something wrong with the bundle ... it only contains the changes to Makefile ?!
"bzr bundle" only takes the last commit into account ... if you would like it to contain more, use "-r" or uncommit each single change and commit a huge one ...

Roman, excuse me please, but sometimes I've got the strong impression you are reading manuals :twisted:

Something still is wrong with your bundle ?!

If I try to merge it, I get:
bzr: ERROR: Revision {pablo@castor-laptop-20080416025257-97fut7ebulk7142h} not present in "inventory".

?!

What is the way you're doing your changes?
Do all changes, commit, bundle?
or
Do some changes, commit, do changes, commit, bundle?

About that revision-id, I tried googling it, but with no real luck ...

Yes, bundle is working now ;)

Two things I stumbled upon prior to testing:

* ClockAlarms shouldn't be installed into /etc/mms for /etc is only writeable by root ... better would be ~/.mms/

* clock/alarm-plugin only is installable together with n-a ... shouldn't that be changed somehow?

And a question:

* /proc/acpi/alarm is owned by root here ... so alarm.sh has to be called as root, too? How would this be working with non-root user?

Just a quick remark: "/proc/acpi/alarm" is deprecated and no longer supported by newer kernels (which use the real time clock instead). Should we really release a plugin based on a no longer working timer interface?

The plugin call a script with date-time param when would be wake up. the script is only a implementation that work for my (my case, proc/acpi/alarm). please be free and contribure with the script ! :)

you look this : http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/ACPI_Wakeup

example script for proc and new system sys/class/rtc... (i don't test it!)

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh

DATE=`date -d " $@" "+%F %H:%M:%S" -u`
SECS=`date -d " $@" "+%s" -u`

if [ -e /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm ]; then
        echo 0 > /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm
        echo $SECS > /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm
fi
if [ -e /proc/acpi/alarm ]; then
        echo $DATE > /proc/acpi/alarm
fi

EDIT: please test this script, if work, i apply that.

Thanks!
