Hi Roman,

Thanks for Your answer. As You see from my previous posts - I am quite stupid in linux things, but I try to learn...

I am translating stuff on my laptop - so I need to copy all the files to my Multimedia PC? and then run thees commands from inside the repository?

Regards

In many posts there is mentioned suspend-to-ram script written by some of users, but I can not find script itself. Can someone drop a link where I can find this script?

Latvian translation is done, but I did not success adding it to my installation.

If I run:

Code: Select all

./configure --prefix=/usr

I get error:

Code: Select all

Error: Please install pcre and pcrecpp

but when I try to install:

Code: Select all

apt-get install libpcre3 libpcre3-dev libpcrecpp0

There is:

Code: Select all

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
libpcre3 is already the newest version.
libpcre3-dev is already the newest version.
libpcrecpp0 is already the newest version.

Thanks Roman!

build-essential helps. And I install a lot more libraries :). And stuck again on libavcodec (I run till line 1282 in configure :D )

So now i get error (I am doing configure as root):

Code: Select all

configuring libavcodec
for detailed output look in libavcodec-config.log
./configure: line 1282: ./configure: Permission denied
Error:  configure failed for libavcodec

libavecodec-config.log is empty

SOLVED chmoded /libs/ffmpeg/configure to 755

as you are using my debs you need to overwrite the translations:

Code: Select all

./configure --prefix=/usr
for i in `find ./ -name po`; do make -C $i; done
for i in `find ./ -name po`; do make install -C $i; done

this should re-build all translations and install them into the correct dirs.

So I did all as written. But menus is still in english. I did LANG=lv_LV.UTF-8

If I run locale - ewerywhere is lv_LV.UTF-8, but when start mms - menu is in english. (If I run as root mms - I get error message in Latvian (without special characters) and also plugin names is in latvian - but menus ENGLISH.

I also try run: export LANG=lv_LV.UTF8; mms -u root and export LANG=de_DE.UTF8

Try: LANG=lv_LV.UTF8 mms

Also please post a screenshot if you get it working, always nice to see it in a foreign language :)

Edit: I think you forgot to add your language to configure. Look for a line that begin with LANGUAGES = da de ... and add lv to that list. Rerun configure and make && make install again to install the translations.

IT WORKS! Thanks all for Your help.

Who can give best solution - how to make screenshoots and how to send translation back to You?

Now my next step will be remote control. I bye one on e-bay and now waiting for it to come. Then I will start learning lirc :) Then next step will be 8inch touchscreen monitor instead of 15inch CRT what I have now for controlling system without Projector :)

P.S. is it possible to have all input devices remote and keyboard and mouse(touchscreen)?

Great! Can you send me all the lv.po files? I'll add them so that they are included in the next release.

Just send them to: anders@gnulinux.dk. It might be easiest if you just do a make clean and send me the whole directory as a tar.bz2. Or even better do a:

bzr add po/lv.po
... <for the rest of the po files> also

I think you should be able to do a bzr diff > lv-translation.diff and send that to me. Otherwise you might need to create a bundle, see this:

http://blogs.gnome.org/jamesh/2007/07/3 ... r-bundles/

You can use touch (mouse), keyboard and lirc all at the same time :)

I send the traslation files. I hope You get them and they are OK.

Just one problem I have. Watching movies from HDD with Xine I have audio/video out of sync. Audio goes a bit forward after some time. Anyone else facing this problem?
