Your opinion about notebook (like to buy a new one)

Postby Uatschitchun » Sat Feb 14, 2009 1:17 pm

Hi ;)

I plan to buy a new notebook ... what do you think about this one:
http://www.billigdrucker.de/medion-akoy ... 10184.html

A bit sad is the resolution: 1366x768 (now I have 1680x1050 and like it ;)

What would you suggest for round about 700 € ?

Thx

Personally, now that I have this Thinkpad, I wouldn't want anything else. They cost bit more than 700€ though.

I have a Amilo Pro from Fujitsu Siemens. Wouldn't by it again.
What about Dell? We got some at Work, and I know 3 people who are glad about their Dell's. Ok, they paid 1600€, but with extra RAM and game-compatible-graphicsadapter.
mit Hellseherschein ;.)

It's an ultra-portable (X300) but my friend has a "normal" one, 14" or 15", which he's very satisfied with too. I can ask him what model it is and what he paid

I have a ibm t60 and it is the best laptop I have ever had. So I fully back Jans statement. But be careful: once you go IBM you'll never go back

Cool man. I really like that everything just works in linux. Never had a laptop before where suspend/resume just worked out of the box. No tinkered required at all :D
