glxinfo | grep direct returns the following:

Code: Select all

 direct rendering: Yes

And these are the configuration parameters: (thanks to bash history, mms -v just returns the version but not the parameters)

Code: Select all

--enable-xine-audio --enable-picture-epg --enable-clock --enable-notify-area --enable-weather --enable-tv --enable-opengl

Yes,
download it here: http://mms.mymediasystem.net/mms110/nightly-snapshot/

with or without bazaar included. Something is really weired with your compilation

Andreas

Ok mms -v now results the following:
admin@mediacenter ~ $ mms -v

Code: Select all

My Media System: 1.1.0 rc4
Configuration: --enable-xine-audio --enable-picture-epg --enable-clock --enable-notify-area --enable-weather --enable-tv --enable-opengl --enable-lirc

but opengl still does not work...

In OpenglConfig, please, set verbose to true, then paste here all console output.
