select audio in mplayer

Postby naicheben » Mon Mar 05, 2007 4:24 pm

Hi,
I'm wondering if it would be possible to get mplayer to switch audio (ac3, stereo and so) in TS/MPEG/VOB vi remote. I have a video recorded from a Nokia DBox2 with stereo in german, englisch and german ac3. Now I would like to switch between them, and if I press # on the keyboard it works fine. Now I'd like the same with my remote, so I typed in to lircrc a section for irxevent to send a '#' to mplayer but now I think this can't work because the hash means: don't bother about the rest ... you know: uncommend character ...

Does anybody know a way arround without patching mplayer?

I guess I found a way:
in ~/.mplayer/input.conf

add a line:
F11 switch_audio

enables me to switch with the F11 key. On the Zenega remote it would be Yellow-button, so I guess it should work there as well. Thanks Roman and esprit!
