Hi,

Wouldn't it be nice if TV is working? Maybe have vdr-sxfe instead of tvtime, so the Live-CD will work as a VDR-extender Wink

Thx. TV with VDR is in work (next release)

Alternate LiveCD

Postby lextre » Thu Mar 06, 2008 10:58 am

Hi,

Not to detract from the good work by Mikka but I have also created a livecd. This one was created using the mklive scripts (from the MCNLIve project). The iso is only around 300mb and includes an option to install to hard drive.

Personally I install to USB stick and use a mcnloop file for saving system wide settings and mms configuration so changes are not lost on reboot.

Unfortunately I don't have enough hosting space to offer the iso for download but if anybody is interested in giving it a try and has some free hosting space just let me know. :)

Mikkas torrents are performing very fine. I think too, a torrent is a realy good solution.

I've eventually got the possibility to put the image onto a web-server with unlimited traffic.

So an info-update would be nice :)
