Re: TVConfig with vdr and softhddevice

well, i guess this is sub-optimal. My current workaround is to start mms from vdr menu. Would it be much work to extend the tv plugin (that is basically just a launcher currently) to "incorporate" the softhddevice window? If it's too much work for one request, maybe someone might pick it u...

Re: TVConfig with vdr and softhddevice

yes. vdr is started during boot with softhddevice as plugin. Softhddevice itself starts in detached (=off) mode. By sending the svdrp command the detached softhddevice can be attached to a specific screen. So to start a brainstorm on possible solutions: - make the mms tv plugin svdrp aware, so it co...

Re: TVConfig with vdr and softhddevice

would appreciate that, thanks!

i thought of a hackish workaround with wmctl, but a patch to mms TV plugin would be a lot better!

TVConfig with vdr and softhddevice

Hello! I guess you heard about the softhddevice plugin for vdr. I updated my vdr installation and i must say that i'm impressed. The plugin is very mature already and has a very good vdpau support (no more lags & crashes when watching HD channels!) So i want to leave vdr-sxfe and settle with the...

Re: (Pls Read!) MMS (1.1.2~pre2) for Ubuntu

Hello Roman! Thanks for the quick response. I pulled the update and the python plugin package is installable now.

Unfortunatly you were right that most plugins are broken with python 2.6. All plugins i tested fail to find the modules mmsv2gui & mmsv2.

Hope this helps!

Re: (Pls Read!) MMS (1.1.2~pre2) for Ubuntu

thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It turned out that my mplayer build (MPlayer SVN-r29643) does not support the "-user-agent" command line switch, so it just stopped pharsing the rest of the command line arguments (including the -fs option) After removing the -user-agent switc...

Re: (Pls Read!) MMS (1.1.2~pre2) for Ubuntu

Hallo! I'm using your nice ppa repository on ubuntu intrepid. Thanks for providing the packages. If i'm not wrong there was an update of the packages pulled by yesterday (or the day before ;) Now my little problem: Since the update mplayer starts playing "behind" the mms window and does no...
